The latest creation from Prodrive has arrived, the Valéo concept bike, with the ability to take corners with ferocious speed and grip. You'll always have your eyes on the road with the dash being two large OLED screens; the speed and other important information is super-imposed over the screen which has live footage of the road ahead and behind. Incredible speed is achieved by the four wheels, which are each run by an inbuilt electromagnetic bearing and motor. This gives the Valéo concept bike a sprint from 0-100km/hr in less than 4 seconds. The ability to take tight turns and stop promptly is due to the ingenious tracks. The rear part of the track lowers so that there is a larger footprint on the road, and hence more traction is achieved. Another advantage is you can take this beast off-road with the extra traction; snow can be driven on as if it were concrete. Also, the ability to lean into corners is achieved by two wheels moving up and down on each side, this tilts the bike to the appropriate angle. This can be achieved automatically by the onboard computer, or via the joystick controller. There are the usual miscellaneous storage places which are normally found in a car and have been implemented into the bike, e.g.: cup holders, glove-box and sufficient cargo space in the rear for a large bag. The Valéo will give you the experience of a super bike with a twist of safety and performance of magnetic proportions.
